Warranty terms may vary depending on the usage, whether the equipment will be used in your home or in a commercial setting.

Intended for gyms, health clubs, and fitness centers, where a high volume of users will be utilizing the equipment continuously throughout the day.

Intended for settings like schools, police stations, hospitals, rehab centers, and hotels, where usage is expected to be around 2-4 hours per day.

Warranty is void when the equipment is used in high-traffic commercial settings.

Tailored for personal use within home settings. With a usage recommendation of under one hour per day, these products are designed for individual or small-group workouts.

Warranty is void when the product is used in light commercial and commercial settings.

USA & Canada Warranty Terms

1. For customers within the USA and Canada, the warranty covers ALL parts for a period 10 years from the date of purchase.
2. The warranty also covers labor for a period 1 year from the date of purchase.
3. Types of equipment covered by the 10 years parts warranty and 1 year labor warranty are cardio equipment, gym systems, racks and cages, plate loaded equipment, benches, selectorized equipment, and storage racks.
4. Gym accessories, free weights, and flooring come with a 1 year limited parts warranty. If an item becomes non-functional due to breakage, we will replace it free of charge. Please note that cosmetic defects (such as chunks of rubber missing), gashes, and other wear and tear are not covered unless reported within 7 days of receipt of the items.
5. Cosmetic defects are covered for the first 7 days upon receipt of the items.
6. Labor warranty is extendable for $50/year on strength equipment and $100/year on cardio equipment.

How to Redeem Your French Fitness Warranty

Step 1: Contact us to initiate the warranty claim process. Send us relevant photos or videos of the damage. We will then evaluate the best solution to address your concerns.

Step 2: Our support team will confirm that we have received your queries within 24 hours, and will respond with the course of action shortly afterwards.

Step 3: We will assess the necessary repairs and provide the required parts and detailed instructions. If the machine is no longer covered by the labor warranty, we will guide you through the installation or repair process. Alternatively, upon request, we can recommend qualified technicians in your area to handle the labor.

Step 4: If your machine is covered by labor warranty, a technician will be dispatched within 1-2 weeks of receiving a service request.

• Northern California: Warranty service will be performed by our in-house technicians.
• Outside Northern California: Warranty service will be performed by a trusted member of our nationwide network of technicians.

Note 1: The warranty will be void if the customer fails to show up for a scheduled service call, unless they pay the technician directly. A trip charge will apply once the technician is dispatched. If the customer fails to show for a scheduled service call and does not communicate with the technician, they will be responsible for the trip charge.

Note 2: If we send parts under the warranty, we will cover all shipping charges for warrantied parts. The customer also agrees to return any unused, defective, or old parts using the provided return shipping label. Failure to return parts replaced will void the warranty.

Inclusions

The warranty covers the following:

• This warranty covers any mechanical or electronic issues that prevent the machine from functioning like new.
• Full coverage for all parts replacement, including structural moving parts such as bearings, pulleys, cables, motors, and batteries, if they cause the machine to malfunction.
• Coverage for wearable parts heart rate monitors, pedals, treadmill decks, running belts, track wheels, and similar components, if they cause the machine to malfunction.
• Coverage for software issues such as error screen messages, program malfunctions, and console resets.
• Within the USA and Canada, 100% labor costs coverage, including unlimited on-site technician diagnostic and repair visits.

Exclusions

The warranty does not cover the following:

1. Improper Use and Physical Damage:
   • Mechanical, software, and cosmetic issues resulting from improper use, physical damage, or actions contrary to the operational manual.
   • Damage caused by disassembling or reassembling the machine.
2. Cosmetic Defects:
   • Scratches, broken plastic, peeling stickers/logos/overlays, discoloration, and similar cosmetic issues, unless present upon receipt.
   • If cosmetic defects are present upon arrival, contact us within one week of delivery. Failure to do so will result in the issue not being covered.
3. Environmental Damage:
   • Damage from water, fire, heat, wind, or other elements, such as leaving the machine outdoors. Outdoor exposure accelerates wear and deterioration. Garage settings may be covered by the warranty.
4. Total Loss:
   • The warranty is void if the product or major parts are reported as stolen, missing, or lost.
5. Unauthorized Purchases:
   • The warranty does not extend to products not purchased from the French Fitness website or an authorized French Fitness reseller.
6. Accident and Misuse:
   • Damage resulting from accidents, misuse, or abuse.
   • Damage caused by parts not manufactured or sold by us.
   • Damage from product modifications.
   • Damage from service by anyone other than us or an authorized warranty service provider.
   • Damage from failure to provide necessary care as outlined in the owner's manual. The customer is responsible for reasonable and necessary maintenance including proper cleaning and lubrication.
7. Defaced Serial Number:
   • The warranty does not cover products with removed, altered, or defaced serial numbers.
8. Service Calls and Customer Instruction:
   • The warranty does not cover service calls for operating instructions, installation, setup, or adjustments.
9. Ineligible Warranty Service:
   • If a product submitted for warranty service is found ineligible, an estimate of repair cost will be provided. Repairs will be made upon customer request and receipt of payment or acceptable payment arrangements.

Additional Warranty Costs

Additional warranty costs will be incurred when:

• Canceling a service appointment after the service provider is already en route to your location or failing to cancel at all.
• Misplacing parts or causing delays for the service provider due to customer-related issues.
• Not being present or unable to provide access to the equipment when the service provider arrives, resulting in idle time.
• Providing incorrect address information, leading to reshipment of parts.
• Losing parts or failing to return requested parts.
• French Fitness reserves the right to charge additional fees to the customer for any of the above reasons.

Additional Terms & Restrictions

• To qualify for warranty coverage, the customer must present the sales receipt showing the date of purchase. This document will serve as your “proof-of-purchase”. Any evidence of alteration, erasure, or forgery of the proof-of-purchase documents will void this warranty.
• The warranty period begins once the product has been delivered and received by the customer.
• The warranty extends only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
• This warranty is valid only if the product is assembled and installed according to the product’s instructions and manual.

International Warranty Terms

1. Outside the USA and Canada, the warranty covers all parts for 3 years from the date of purchase.
2. Labor is not included in this warranty.
3. Gym accessories and free weights come with a 30-day warranty. If an item becomes non-functional due to breakage, we will replace it free of charge. Please note that cosmetic defects (such as chunks of rubber missing), gashes, and other wear and tear are not covered unless reported within 7 days of receipt of the items.

5. We provide phone and email support with technicians who can assist you in diagnosing issues and guiding you through the installation of replacement parts.
6. If we send parts under the warranty, we will cover all shipping charges for warrantied parts. The customer also agrees to return any unused, defective, or old parts using the provided return shipping label. Failure to return parts replaced will void the warranty.

Disclaimer

Except as explicitly stated in this warranty, we make no other warranties, either express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. We expressly disclaim all warranties not outlined in this warranty. Any implied warranties imposed by law are limited to the terms of this warranty.

Neither French Fitness nor our affiliates shall be liable for incidental or consequential damages.

For customers residing in states that do not permit limitations on the duration of implied warranties or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, the above limitations may not apply to you.

This warranty provides you with specific legal rights, and you may have additional rights that vary by state. This is the sole express warranty applicable to French Fitness branded products. We do not assume nor authorize anyone to assume any other express warranty on our behalf.

• Limited Warranty. With respect to Power Plate®-branded Products, all such Products are subject to a limited warranty (the “Limited Warranty”) against defects in material and workmanship under normal use for a period of one year after the date of purchase from PHS , unless otherwise stated in the limited warranty terms as included with such Product, as published in product guides or related literature and/or as made available on this Website or, in the case of optional extended warranties issued by PHS, such extended warranty documentation. With respect to Commercial Customers, the Limited Warranty extends only to Products sold to such Commercial Customer for either resale by Commercial Customer or use in Commercial Customer’s business.
• PHS’s Obligation Under Limited Warranty. PHS’s sole obligation under the Limited Warranty shall be, in PHS’s sole discretion, either to repair or replace Products or to refund the purchase price, during the limited warranty period when it has been determined by PHS that Product was defective as a result of manufacturing and not as a result of (i) improper use, storage or handling, (ii) the failure to maintain the Product with reasonable care, or (iii) abnormal conditions, including, without limitation, abuse, neglect, or catastrophe. All statements, technical information or recommendations relating to PHS Product are based upon information believed to be reliable, but do not constitute a guaranty or warranty.

Responsibilities of the Purchaser:

1. Follow all maintenance requirements and document the maintenance schedule in accordance with instructions provided at gosportsart.com, which are incorporated herein by reference. To the extent that there is any conflict between the terms of the maintenance guidelines on gosportsart.com and this limited warranty, the maintenance guidelines on gosportsart.com will control.
2. Operate the product in accordance with instructions provided in the product user manual and in updated product manuals on the website.
3. Provide adequate power supply as instructed in the product user manual.
4. Comply with requests from the customer service department, including, but not limited to, providing documentation of product issues (including digital photos) and maintenance, following procedures, and providing proof of purchase.

Failure to fulfill responsibilities listed above voids this product limited warranty and all responsibilities of SportsArt. Please register the product within thirty (30) days from the date of purchase by completing and returning to SportsArt the registration card below or by completing the warranty registration form at gosportsart.com.

Limitations and Exclusions:

1. Wear items may require picture and/or image verification.
2. Software upgrades not associated with safety issues.
3. Screws and other hardware commonly available at hardware stores.
4. Products purchased or installed in countries other than the US, Canada, and Mexico.
5. Products purchased from an unauthorized SportsArt dealer or second-hand products whether or not purchased from an authorized SportsArt dealer.
6. Products whose serial numbers have been removed, altered, or defaced, or for which false information has been given.
7. Products installed, worked on, altered or modified by unauthorized or unqualified service people and the damage done by such.
8. Shipping damages of any kind. Note: Damage caused by common carrier is the carrier’s responsibility and must be claimed with the carrier at the time it occurs.
9. Damage or equipment resulting from negligence, accident, misuse, abuse, natural disaster, fire, flood, abnormal electrical or environmental conditions, contact with sand, dirt, food or liquid.
10. Service calls made to instruct people on how to operate the product, and trip charges for warranty travel exceeding 100 miles or 2 hours, whichever is less
11. Parts that are lost, stolen, neglected, abused or vandalized
12. Expenses for making products accessible for servicing
13. Labor on parts that are not within their stated warranty period.

SportsArt will repair or replace parts, at its discretion, and may use functionally equivalent reconditioned, refurbished, pre-owned, or new components and parts to replace defective ones. All repairs must be preauthorized by the SportsArt service department.

Returns:

The customer is responsible for freight, packaging, and other expenses associated with product returns. All units must be shipped in the original box and arrive in sellable condition. Do not ship any unit without a return authorization number. All units arriving without a return authorization number or arriving with damage will be refused and no refund will be issued.

Limitations of Liability:

It is understood that SportsArt is not an insurer, that you will obtain insurance, if any is desired, and that the sums payable to SportsArt are based upon the value of the product and the scope of liability undertaken by SportsArt.

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL SPORTSART’S LIABILITY IN CONTRACT, IN TORT, IN NEGLIGENCE, FOR BODILY INJURY, DEATH, OR PROPERTY DAMAGE, UNDER ANY WARRANTY OR OTHERWISE EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THIS PRODUCT, AND UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL SPORTSART BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SECONDARY OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES RESULTING FROM THE USE OF, MISUSE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE EXERCISE PRODUCTS, OR THE PERFORMANCE OF THE PRODUCT, EVEN IF SPORTSART OR ITS AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

• During the first year, all labor is covered by the warranty. All labor repairs will be performed at the factory on warranty and non-warranty parts.
• This warranty does not cover paint deterioration, discoloration, chipping or rust.
• After all of the foregoing conditions have been complied with, if H.R.I. shall thereupon attempt repairs and /or replacements which shall for any reason fail, H.R.I.'s shall be allowed to continue to attempt to remedy any defects for so long a period of time as, In H.R.I. sole judgment, such attempt is justified.
• The foregoing shall be buyer's sole and exclusive remedy, whether based on or otherwise, and H.R.I. shall not be liable for any injuries to persons or property. In no event shall H.R.I. be liable for incidental or consequential damages to commercial losses, nor for any other loss or damages except as above set forth.
