Frequently Asked Questions
How do I fill the Cold Plunge Tub?
Please ensure that either the Plugs and Caps are in place on the Tub Outlet and Inlet, or that the
Hoses are fastened tightly to both the Cold Plunge tub and the Chiller to prevent water spillage.
Be sure that the Drain is closed and/or the Drain Cap is in place. Place a garden hose in the tub
and turn on the water at the faucet or spigot. Fill the Cold Plunge Tub to about 2/3-3/4 full. If a
Chiller is connected, fill the Cold Plunge until the Water Inlet on the Tub wall is submerged in
water.
How do I drain the Cold Plunge Tub?
Unscrew the Drain Cap to allow the water to flow freely from the Cold Plunge Tub. To connect a
standard garden hose to the Drain Fittings, please request a Drain Adapter from DCT.
*First Generation Barrels and Cuboids will have a “Pop-up Plug” on the floor of the Cold Plunge.
With the Drain Fitting open, press on the Pop-up Plug to release the water.
How do I change the Filter on the Chiller?
Use the Plugs that came with the Cold Plunge Tub to close the Inlet and Outlet post on the Cold
Plunge Tub. Using the provided Filter Wrench, turn the Filter Cup counter-clockwise until the
Filter Cup detaches from the Chiller (from a bird’s eye view the Filter Cup will need to be turned
clockwise for removal). Some water will spill, but no more than the residual amount inside the
Hoses and Chiller. Discard the old Filter and place a fresh Filter in the Filter Cup before
refastening to the Chiller.
How often does the water need to be replaced?
We recommend replacing the water frequently to ensure clean, safe, and sanitary water is being
used in the Cold Plunge. Water requirements will vary depending on use, ranging from 1-2 times
per week for intensive users, or as little as every 2-4 weeks in lighter use applications or with
stringent water maintenance schedules.
Can I use chemicals to treat the water?
While chemicals such as chlorine can be used to sanitize the water, we recommend using
chemical treatment sparingly as this is a health and wellness product. If chemicals are being
used it’s especially important to test and monitor the water regularly to maintain pH balance,
alkalinity, water hardness, and acceptable levels of the chemical being used. Please note:
Bromine is especially corrosive to the materials used in the Cold Plunge Tubs and Chillers, and
we do not recommend using Bromine for water treatment.
How long are the Hoses?
The Chiller comes with two 8 foot long Hoses.
What size are the Cold Plunge and Chiller Fittings?
The Chillers, Barrel Cold Plunge, and Cuboid Cold Plunge all use 1⁄2” Threaded NPT Fittings. The
Inflatable Cold Plunge Tubs have 1” ID Fittings and come with custom Adapters to connect to
the Chiller.
Can I use longer Hoses with my Cold Plunge system?
Yes, but there are potential problems to consider. Using longer Hoses will create a greater
distance for the water to travel between the Cold Plunge Tub and the Chiller, resulting in greater
chance for heat absorption and greater friction between the inside of the Hose and the water
traveling through them. These factors will decrease the efficiency of the Chiller’s cooling
abilities. Exactly how much the efficiency is reduced is incalculable due to myriad variables.
Additionally, regardless of length, the Hoses will collect condensation when the unit is cooling
the water. Over greater distances there will be more moisture to manage.
Can I install the Chiller in a utility closet or above the Cold Plunge Tub out of the way?
Chiller placement involves 3 main considerations:
Distance behind the Chiller for ventilation (at least 36 inches)
The Chiller remaining level with the Cold Plunge
Moisture management as condensation drips from the Chiller and the Hoses
The Chiller needs proper ventilation in order to cool the water; if the unit is recirculating the
same hot air that is being discharged then it will not be able to cool the water effectively. Place
the Chiller above or below the ground level where the Cold Plunge Tub is installed will cause the
Water to Pump to also compete against the force of gravity to circulate the water. This
additional strain can shorten the longevity of the product. Be mindful that condensation from
the Chiller and the Hoses will drip on the floor in the surrounding area, and it will be important
manage the accumulating moisture accordingly.
What are the electrical requirements for the Chiller?
All of our Chiller models run on a standard 120v/15AMP outlet. We recommend using a
dedicated 15AMP Outlet/Circuit Breaker when possible, and due to the product involving water
we recommend using a GFCI Outlet..
Can the Cold Plunge system be installed outdoors?
The Chillers are rated for outdoor use, but they are not weather-proofed. The Chiller can
tolerate some water exposure, such as some water dripping off the user’s hand after they have
exited the Cold Plunge and make adjustments to the Chiller’s settings. Exposing the Chiller to
direct sunlight can cause the Ambient Temperature Sensor to read extremely high temperatures
which may result in the unit being inoperable. The Cold Plunge Tubs are suitable for outdoor
use, however Barrel Cold Plunge users may wish to consider staining the wood staves of the
Barrel to improve longevity and protect the unit from the elements.
How long is the Warranty period?
All Dynamic Cold Therapy products carry a 1-year Limited Warranty. The warranty period
commences on the date of purchase and is non-transferrable.
How often does the water need to be replaced?
Water Maintenance schedules will vary depending on multiple factors, such as frequency of use,
local water source conditions, and other environmental factors. Because this is a Health &
Wellness product we encourage our customers to replace the water frequently rather than
relying entirely on chemical treatment for sanitary purposes. We typically recommend replacing
the water at least once a week depending on use. Some heavy-use Cold Plunge customers may
need to replace their water more frequently, and some users may be able to go longer between
water replacements based on proper water maintenance and less frequent use. As a rule of
thumb, if the water is cloudy or discolored this is a sure sign that the water is due to be
replaced.
How often does the Filter need to be replaced?
Water Maintenance schedules will vary depending on multiple factors, such as frequency of use,
local water source conditions, and other environmental factors. Filter replacements may occur
as often as once or twice a week in heavy-use Cold Plunge applications, and Filters may last as
long as 2-3 weeks in well-maintained less frequently used applications. As a rule of thumb, if the
Filter is discolored or showing signs of deterioration it’s likely that it needs to be replaced. If the
Flow Rate has decreased below 16L/min and/or the Chiller is nosier than usual this is also an
indicator that the Filter is due to be replaced.
How often does the Strainer need to be cleaned?
The Strainer should be cleaned out at least as often as the Filter is replaced. For units with an
Internal Strainer, it can be removed for cleaning by following along with the video linked HERE.
What do I do with the extra Strainer Attachment that came with the Chiller?
We recommend installing the External Strainer to the Chiller Inlet Fitting, as shown in the video
linked HERE. Using the External Strainer will help improve Filter longevity. The External Strainer
should be cleaned out at least as often as the Filter is replaced. Simply unscrew the clear cup
portion from the black top, remove the mech strainer, and thoroughly rinse the strainer out
before re-installing.
What does the Ozone feature do?
The Ozonator helps keep the water clean by killing bacteria in the water. Unless toggled “off”
the Ozone will activate about every 15 minutes. The Basic and Premier models have adjustable
Ozone intervals, whereas the Standard model can only be turned on or off. Using the Ozone
feature is not an all-encompassing stand-in for other water maintenance procedures.
How loud is the Chiller?
Our Chillers have a Decibel rating of about 60-65Db. The Chiller may sound louder when the
Ozone is actively running.
Can I use the Cold Plunge in the winter?
The Chillers are rated at a working temperature of 34°F-113°F, and are not rated for use in sub-
freezing temperatures. Damage caused by freezing is not covered under warranty.
How do I drain the Chiller for storage?
Please see the video linked HERE for guidance on completely draining the Chiller. This video
shows the Chiller partially disassembled as it was filmed in the factory, but it won’t be necessary
to open up the unit to drain it.

USA & Canada Warranty Terms
For customers within the USA and Canada, the warranty covers ALL parts for a period 10 years from the date of purchase.
The warranty also covers labor for a period 1 year from the date of purchase.
Types of equipment covered by the 10 years parts warranty and 1 year labor warranty are cardio equipment, gym systems, racks and cages, plate loaded equipment, benches, selectorized equipment, and storage racks.
Gym accessories, free weights, and flooring come with a 1 year limited parts warranty. If an item becomes non-functional due to breakage, we will replace it free of charge. Please note that cosmetic defects (such as chunks of rubber missing), gashes, and other wear and tear are not covered unless reported within 7 days of receipt of the items.
Cosmetic defects are covered for the first 7 days upon receipt of the items.
Labor warranty is extendable for $50/year on strength equipment and $100/year on cardio equipment.
How to Redeem Your French Fitness Warranty
Step 1: Contact us to initiate the warranty claim process. Send us relevant photos or videos of the damage. We will then evaluate the best solution to address your concerns.
Step 2: Our support team will confirm that we have received your queries within 24 hours, and will respond with the course of action shortly afterwards.
Step 3: We will assess the necessary repairs and provide the required parts and detailed instructions. If the machine is no longer covered by the labor warranty, we will guide you through the installation or repair process. Alternatively, upon request, we can recommend qualified technicians in your area to handle the labor.
Step 4: If your machine is covered by labor warranty, a technician will be dispatched within 1-2 weeks of receiving a service request.
Northern California: Warranty service will be performed by our in-house technicians.
Outside Northern California: Warranty service will be performed by a trusted member of our nationwide network of technicians.
Note 1: The warranty will be void if the customer fails to show up for a scheduled service call, unless they pay the technician directly. A trip charge will apply once the technician is dispatched. If the customer fails to show for a scheduled service call and does not communicate with the technician, they will be responsible for the trip charge.
Note 2: If we send parts under the warranty, we will cover all shipping charges for warrantied parts. The customer also agrees to return any unused, defective, or old parts using the provided return shipping label. Failure to return parts replaced will void the warranty.

Exclusions
The warranty does not cover the following:
Improper Use and Physical Damage:
Mechanical, software, and cosmetic issues resulting from improper use, physical damage, or actions contrary to the operational manual.
Damage caused by disassembling or reassembling the machine.
Cosmetic Defects:
Scratches, broken plastic, peeling stickers/logos/overlays, discoloration, and similar cosmetic issues, unless present upon receipt.
If cosmetic defects are present upon arrival, contact us within one week of delivery. Failure to do so will result in the issue not being covered.
Environmental Damage:
Damage from water, fire, heat, wind, or other elements, such as leaving the machine outdoors. Outdoor exposure accelerates wear and deterioration. Garage settings may be covered by the warranty.
Total Loss:
The warranty is void if the product or major parts are reported as stolen, missing, or lost.
Unauthorized Purchases:
The warranty does not extend to products not purchased from the French Fitness website or an authorized French Fitness reseller.
Accident and Misuse:
Damage resulting from accidents, misuse, or abuse.
Damage caused by parts not manufactured or sold by us.
Damage from product modifications.
Damage from service by anyone other than us or an authorized warranty service provider.
Damage from failure to provide necessary care as outlined in the owner's manual. The customer is responsible for reasonable and necessary maintenance including proper cleaning and lubrication.
Defaced Serial Number:
The warranty does not cover products with removed, altered, or defaced serial numbers.
Service Calls and Customer Instruction:
The warranty does not cover service calls for operating instructions, installation, setup, or adjustments.
Ineligible Warranty Service:
If a product submitted for warranty service is found ineligible, an estimate of repair cost will be provided. Repairs will be made upon customer request and receipt of payment or acceptable payment arrangements.
Additional Warranty Costs
Additional warranty costs will be incurred when:
Canceling a service appointment after the service provider is already en route to your location or failing to cancel at all.
Misplacing parts or causing delays for the service provider due to customer-related issues.
Not being present or unable to provide access to the equipment when the service provider arrives, resulting in idle time.
Providing incorrect address information, leading to reshipment of parts.
Losing parts or failing to return requested parts.
French Fitness reserves the right to charge additional fees to the customer for any of the above reasons.
Additional Terms & Restrictions
To qualify for warranty coverage, the customer must present the sales receipt showing the date of purchase. This document will serve as your “proof-of-purchase”. Any evidence of alteration, erasure, or forgery of the proof-of-purchase documents will void this warranty.
The warranty period begins once the product has been delivered and received by the customer.
The warranty extends only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
This warranty is valid only if the product is assembled and installed according to the product’s instructions and manual.
International Warranty Terms
Outside the USA and Canada, the warranty covers all parts for 3 years from the date of purchase.
Labor is not included in this warranty.
Gym accessories and free weights come with a 30-day warranty. If an item becomes non-functional due to breakage, we will replace it free of charge. Limited Lifetime Warranty
5 Year Limited Warranty: Golden Designs, Inc. warranties the wood, structure, heating elements, and electronics against defects in material and workmanship for a period of 1 to 5 years from the original date of purchase. This sauna is for INDOOR use only. Placing your sauna outdoors will VOID this warranty. Any damage due to exposure to outdoor elements such as rain, snow, sun, wind or extreme temperatures will not be covered by this warranty. Any damages as a result of modifications made to the sauna or its components will void this warranty.
Extent of Warranty: This limited warranty applies to products manufactured or distributed by Golden Designs, Inc. under the Dynamic brand name, delivered in the continental United States or Canada and extends to the original purchaser at the original site of installation only. This warranty becomes valid at time of purchase and terminates either by specified time frame listed above, owner transfer, or relocation. Your sales receipt showing the date of purchase of the product is your proof of purchase.

The appliance warranty is extended through the manufacturer for the product including, but not limited to: stereos, CD/DVD players, etc. All exchanged parts and products replaced under this warranty will become the property of Golden Designs, Inc. Golden Designs, Inc. reserves the right to change manufactures of any part to cover any existing warranty. Any parts determined to be defective must be returned to Golden Designs, Inc. to obtain warranty service. You must prepay any shipping charges, export taxes, custom duties and taxes, or any other charges associated with the transportation of the parts. In addition you are responsible for insuring any parts shipped or returned. You must present Golden Designs, Inc. with proof of purchase documents (including the date of purchase). Any evidence of alteration, erasing or forgery of proof of purchase documents will be cause to VOID this limited warranty. Products on which the serial number has been defaced or removed is not eligible for warranty service.
Warranty Limitations
This warranty does not apply if the unit has been subject to negligence, alteration, modification, misuse, abuse, repairs by non-Golden Designs, Inc. authorized personnel, inappropriate installations, or any case beyond the control of Golden Designs, Inc. invalidating this warranty including but are not limited to:
Use of lacquer or paints
Sauna and other Golden Designs, Inc. products accessories placed on non-approved surfaces
Outdoor applications
Normal wear and tear or weathering
Use of product not in accordance with instructions
Surface cracks are not considered defects in material or workmanship, as they are normal characteristics of all woods. This includes minor cracks due to wood expansion and contraction. Note: Since the wood used in construction has been kiln dried, a certain amount of expansion and contraction occurs in the wood in a sauna environment.

Golden Designs, Inc. shall not be liable for loss of use of sauna or other Golden Designs, Inc. products or other secondary or incidental or consequential costs, expense or damages - which may include the removal of permanent deck or other custom fixtures or the necessity for crane removal - arising directly or indirectly out of the use or inability to use the product. Any implied warranty shall have duration equal of the applicable warranty stated above. Under no circumstances shall Golden Designs, Inc. or any of its representatives be held liable for injury to any person or damage to any property, however arising. MARPO KINETICS warranty is as follows: lifetime limited on the frame, not including coatings, 1 years on mechanical parts, 1 year labor, 90 days on upholstery stitching only, cables and belts. Warranty is good and available to the original purchaser only as noted by MARPO KINETICS invoice and is not transferable or assumable. MARPO KINETICS cannot warrant products that have been abused, neglected and/or poorly maintained. All equipment should be reviewed at the time of delivery for damage, breakage, loosening of nuts and bolts, components and/or any other moving parts. Any and all claims for warranty must be received in writing within 70 days of defect. Do not alter, modify or redesign any MARPO KINETICS products or use any replacement parts or materials other than those components original to MARPO KINETICS as it will limit the warranty and liability of MARPO KINETICS. MARPO KINETICS reserves the right to change, replace or modify products, parts, accessories and/or design without notice. We will ship to you any new or rebuilt replacement part or component, or, at our option, replace the Product. Such replacement parts are warranted for the remaining portion of the original warranty period.

MOVING PARTS:
Pulleys, bushings, ball bearings are guaranteed against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year from date of purchase.
CABLES & UPHOLSTERY:

If there are any cosmetic defects on arrival, please contact us within a week of delivery so we can fix the issue. If we are not notified within a week, it will not be covered.
What is Not Included?
Standard Maintenance (Labor not covered): These are things that require just a wrench and adjusting a nut to calibrate, and / or adjusting tension knobs to fix or adjust. Directions will be provided to the user to make these adjustments, and we can ship a tool to do the adjustment, or the cleaning material, if requested.

• Adjusting tensions of cables on strength equipment
• Calibrating the equipment
• Lubrication of equipment including walking belts
• Cleaning of displays, grips and also removal of debris from ramps, wheels, and other moving parts to prevent buildup and issues
Woodway Belt Disclaimer: For all Woodway Treadmills, we ship used belts, unless the option of a new belt is selected when purchasing. They are guaranteed to be 100% functional. They are guaranteed to work like new under the warranty. If the belt malfunctions, we will replace the appropriate part on the belt (Not the entire). They will be replaced with used belt parts. The used belt parts will make the treadmill work like new again, but they will not be brand new. Note that this only applies to all Woodways, and belts are fully covered on other treadmills
Any mechanical, software and cosmetic issues that are a direct result of improper use, physical damage, or the user engaging in an activity which the operational manual specifically warns against doing or caused by the user disassembling/reassembling the machine.
Cosmetic defects including but not limited to scratches, broken plastic, peeling stickers/logos/overlays, discoloration, etc., unless defective on arrival. If cosmetics defects are present, they must be reported within 1 week of receipt of the machine.
Software Updates: We will download the latest possible software for the machine when it's sent. However, if there is a new version of software that becomes available later on, we can advise you on updating, though our warranty will not cover. Of course, if your software is malfunctioning, that is covered, but if it's just an older version, that is not covered.
Water, fire, heat, wind, or elemental damages such as the machine being left in an outdoor setting. Leaving the machine outdoors causes the machine to wear and deteriorate significantly quicker than indoors. Garage settings are covered by the warranty.
The warranty does not cover Total Loss. If the product or major parts to the machine, are reported as stolen/missing the warranty is void.
The residential warranty will become void if the machine is used in a commercial setting.
NOTE under the warranty that we will send parts out. Failure to return any unused / defective / old parts with the return shipping label provided, will void the warranty
NOTE: the warranty will void if the customer fails to show for a scheduled service call with the technician, unitil they pay the technician directly. The technician will charge if they are dispatched. If the customer is not home and doesn't communicate it they are responsible for the trip charge.
Warranty labor service is only valid in the United States/Canada only
International Warranty: We do offer a parts warranty for all international transactions. Please note that it will be parts only, and does not include labor. We do, however, have technicians available by phone and email who can walk you through installing or diagnosing the issue, and appropriate part to replace. All remanufactured items which ship internationally will include a 1 year parts warranty, along with the option of purchasing an extended parts warranty of 2, 3, 4, or 5 years total. You can select the option, and view costs on the product page on our website by selecting the appropriate parts & labor warranty (which will be parts only when shipper outside the USA or Canada). Please note that Fitness Superstore will cover all shipping charges related to shipping warrantied parts internationally. Please also note that new products will include the manufacturers warranty, which may or may not be valid for items shipped outside the USA.

reference. To the extent that there is any conflict between the terms of the maintenance guidelines on gosportsart.com and this limited warranty, the maintenance guidelines on
gosportsart.com will control.
Operate the product in accordance with instructions provided in the product user manual and in updated product manuals on the website.
Provide adequate power supply as instructed in the product user manual.
Comply with requests from the customer service department, including, but not limited to, providing documentation of product issues (including digital photos) and maintenance, following
procedures, and providing proof of purchase.
Failure to fulfill responsibilities listed above voids this product limited warranty and all responsibilities of SportsArt. Please register the product within thirty (30) days from the date of purchase by completing and returning to SportsArt the registration card below or by completing the warranty registration form at gosportsart.com.
Limitations and Exclusions:
Wear items may require picture and/or image verification.
Software upgrades not associated with safety issues.
Screws and other hardware commonly available at hardware stores.
Products purchased or installed in countries other than the US, Canada, and Mexico.
Products purchased from an unauthorized SportsArt dealer or second-hand products whether or not purchased from an authorized SportsArt dealer.
Products whose serial numbers have been removed, altered, or defaced, or for which false information has been given.
Products installed, worked on, altered or modified by unauthorized or unqualified service people and the damage done by such.
Shipping damages of any kind. Note: Damage caused by common carrier is the carrier’s responsibility and must be claimed with the carrier at the time it occurs.
Damage or equipment resulting from negligence, accident, misuse, abuse, natural disaster, fire, flood, abnormal electrical or environmental conditions, contact with sand, dirt, food or liquid.
Service calls made to instruct people on how to operate the product, and trip charges for warranty travel exceeding 100 miles or 2 hours, whichever is less
Parts that are lost, stolen, neglected, abused or vandalized
Expenses for making products accessible for servicing
Labor on parts that are not within their stated warranty period.
SportsArt will repair or replace parts, at its discretion, and may use functionally equivalent reconditioned, refurbished, pre-owned, or new components and parts to replace defective
ones. All repairs must be preauthorized by the SportsArt service department.
Returns:
The customer is responsible for freight, packaging, and other expenses associated with product returns. All units must be shipped in the original box and arrive in sellable condition. Do not ship
any unit without a return authorization number. All units arriving without a return authorization number or arriving with damage will be refused and no refund will be issued.
Limitations of Liability:
It is understood that SportsArt is not an insurer, that you will obtain insurance, if any is desired, and that the sums payable to SportsArt are based upon the value of the product and
the scope of liability undertaken by SportsArt.
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL SPORTSART’S LIABILITY IN CONTRACT, IN TORT, IN NEGLIGENCE, FOR BODILY INJURY, DEATH,
OR PROPERTY DAMAGE, UNDER ANY WARRANTY OR OTHERWISE EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THIS PRODUCT, AND UNDER NO
CIRCUMSTANCES WILL SPORTSART BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SECONDARY OR CONSEQUENTIAL

EXERCISE PRODUCTS, OR THE PERFORMANCE OF THE PRODUCT, EVEN IF SPORTSART OR ITS AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE HAS BEEN

VERSACLIMBER / VERSAPULLEY THREE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
Heart Rate, Inc. (H.R.I.) warrants to the original purchaser that our VersaClimbers are free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and maintenance under a three year limited warranty subject to the terms and conditions Hereafter set forth. Except for the above warranty, it is expressly agreed that NO WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE or of a particular use nor any warranty of any kind whatsoever express, implied or statutory is made by Heart Rate Inc. (HRI)
This warranty does not cover any damage caused by misuse, tampering, negligence, accidents, abnormal conditions, lack of adequate maintenance or unauthorized service or alterations to the product.
Liability of H.R.I. is limited to either repair or replacement of the defective part or the replacement of the machine at the option of H.R.I. on an exchange basis, with the customer bearing all costs of shipping and handling to and from the factory.

During the first year, all labor is covered by the warranty. All labor repairs will be performed at the factory on warranty and non-warranty parts.
This warranty does not cover paint deterioration, discoloration, chipping or rust.
After all of the foregoing conditions have been complied with, if H.R.I. shall thereupon attempt repairs and /or replacements which shall for any reason fail, H.R.I.'s shall be allowed to continue to attempt to remedy any defects for so long a period of time as, In H.R.I. sole judgment, such attempt is justified.
The foregoing shall be buyer's sole and exclusive remedy, whether based on or otherwise, and H.R.I. shall not be liable for any injuries to persons or property. In no event shall H.R.I. be liable for incidental or consequential damages to commercial losses, nor for any other loss or damages except as above set forth.
This warranty is expressly in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, and of all other obligations or liability on the part of H.R.I. No person, firm or corporation is authorized to assume any other liability on behalf of H.R.I.
All claims must be made within 15 days of receipt of goods. All returns are subject to a 15% restocking charge and must be authorized prior to return. Freight/shipping charges (to and from) customer are not refundable. Inside delivery is an additional charge if not previously indicated on the sales order. This charge will be billed accordingly if customer requests it at the time of delivery.
